I’ll be taking my sweet Elvis with me to work for the first time today.
Our little pug, Elvis <3
I just bought myself a Surface Pro! It looks like a tab, but it’s actually a computer. I’m so happy!
This is Bamse. He was my best friend from the moment we met. I’d always wanted a little dog and finally my parents agreed to let me have one. I was about 14 years old.
One day my stepfather came home and opened the door to my room and said: “Go in and see if she likes you.” And in came this little guy. I was so surprised and happy, he was perfect. Bamse was 8 years old when we got him, which suited us perfectly because this is the first dog we’ve had in the family.
From that day on, my life changed for ever. I was never alone, he was always there, right by my side. He followed me through the house and when I went to bed, he slept right next to me or outside my door. We went on walks three times a day or more, but as an old man, he was really slow. But that was okay. He didn’t like bikes, or people running.
Bamse was always kind, sweet and patient. If I was feeling sad, or cried, he’d jump up with his front paws on my bed and try to comfort me.
When I moved in with my boyfriend, Tom, they soon started to bond as well. Whenever I went to bed and Tom stayed up, Bamse would lay by Tom’s side until he’d go to bed as well, then Bamse would follow. We had folded a duvet for him to sleep on in our room, an old man should be comfortable.
Bamse turned deaf when he was 15 years old. He would sleep until we would wake him for his morning walk. He also had the habit of sneezing a lot. And sometimes he’d sneeze so hard he’d smack his snout to the floor.
Bamse was a happy and healthy dog to the end of his days. I will miss him to the end of mine. He was my best friend for so many years. He died 16 years old, in my arms. I love you, Bamse.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time in Venice! We went to a lot of churches, museums and sights. We also did some shopping and ate a lot of Italian ice cream. It was nice to see the sun again.
Greetings from Croatia :)
October 1st Tom and I have been living together for a year. And soon, we’ll own our own apartment!
Finally done with the tattoo on my leg! It’s a tribute for my father who passed away May 1st. He loved motorcycles his entire life and I don’t think he had wanted to go any other way then on his MVAgusta motorcycle. (He did not die in an accident, he died from a stroke in his brain.) This tattoo is to celebrate his life, his passion for motorcycles which made him so happy and him being a wonderful father to both me and my little sister. My father and I were very much alike. We were thinkers, philosophers, deep and calm.
The text in the banner says: “Det er det pappa er til for” which means “That’s what fathers are here for.” Which sounds better in Norwegian, I assure you. That’s what my father always said to me whenever I wanted to thank him.
I love you dad.
My boyfriend and I have been together for two years! Two years and not a single fight, no tears, just happiness. I love my sweet Tom.
My boyfriend and I are talking about what kind of dog we want when we find an apartment and we finally get the time to take care of a life.
